FROM TECHNOLOGY TO DEMONSTRATOR
Quantum Drive is entering a new phase of development: experimental validation and the progressive development of a representative demonstrator.
The technological architecture is currently defined and modelled at TRL 3–4. The next stage is to bring together the industrial and scientific expertise required to validate the key technological building blocks and progress towards TRL 5.
Our approach prioritises collaboration with partners that already possess the infrastructure, equipment and expertise required for this development phase.
CORE EXPERTISE SOUGHT
Quantum Drive is seeking partners with expertise in:
• Electromagnetic systems and high-power engineering
• HTS superconductors and cryogenic systems
• Power electronics and pulsed-power technologies
• Instrumentation, sensors and high-speed metrology
• Control systems, synchronisation and embedded electronics
• Advanced materials and mechanical engineering
• Complex system integration and demonstrator development
• Testing, simulation, qualification and experimental validation
• Aerospace and dual-use technologies
TWO APPLICATION AREAS
DEFENCE — COUNTER-UAV / COUNTER-UAS
Quantum Drive is developing an application designed to counter and neutralise hostile drones through the study and validation of pulsed electromagnetic effects on their electronic systems.
Partners may contribute to technology development, system integration, instrumentation, testing and validation for applications including the protection of critical infrastructure and sensitive sites.
CIVIL — SPACE APPLICATIONS
The same technological platform is also being studied for electromagnetic assistance in the acceleration and launch of microsatellites and small space payloads.
This civilian dimension positions Quantum Drive within a genuine dual-use strategy and expands opportunities for industrial and scientific cooperation.
COLLABORATION MODELS
Partnerships may take different forms depending on each organisation's expertise and objectives:
• Scientific and experimental validation
• Subsystem development and manufacturing
• Demonstrator integration
• Technology co-development
• Collaborative R&D programmes
• Technology transfer
• Industrial licensing agreements
Quantum Drive's existing intellectual property provides the technological foundation for these collaborations. Future developments can be structured within contractual frameworks clearly defining confidentiality, responsibilities and the rights of each partner.
OBJECTIVE: TRL 5
Our immediate objective is to establish a validation pathway in which the essential technological building blocks can be tested independently before their progressive integration into a representative demonstrator.
This approach is designed to reduce technical risk, measure real-world performance and prepare the subsequent stages of industrialisation.
BUILDING THE NEXT STAGE TOGETHER
Quantum Drive welcomes cooperation with industrial companies, technology SMEs and mid-sized companies, research centres, laboratories, universities and system integrators interested in contributing to the development of a new dual-use electromagnetic platform.
Co-development • Experimental Validation • Demonstrator • Technology Transfer • Industrial Licensing
Detailed technical documentation is available to qualified partners under an appropriate confidentiality framework.
